[Elecraft] The next new radio from Japan?

I like the clever design of the control head but -
Upconversion
Over 6 pounds
1.2 Amp on standby
No internal antenna tuner mentioned
Mandatory D-$tar

Seems like a combination of the worst of the old and new in what is 
likely to be a very expensive package.
