FWIW:  Rose made a custom case for my K2 for me.  I allows me to carry 
the radio, W1, clipboard with AME mini-paddle, battery, and misc cables 
and connectors.  I can even get a couple of my minimal field antennas 
in.  It is extremely well made, well padded, and exactly what we agreed 
on.  My wife knows about sewing, stitching, and embroidery, and her 
assessment is that "it is put together like a Sherman tank."  There are 
many choices of colors, stitching, embroidery, and the like on her web 
site.  Ken says she's sewing 24/7. :-)
