[Elecraft] K3 Mics

I am somewhat new to list and definitely a new K3 owner just having completed the build of #6663. I understand this may be turning over dirt that has been worked many times before - but didn't really find what I was looking for in archives.
- I understand that if I want to use my exisiting  Heil GM-5 or ProSetPlus I will need to use the front panel mic connection.
- My question is what types or brands, models are K3 owners using with the rear panel mic connection on the KIO3 panel ?
