Thanks for the thought, but no I didn't Brian. I'm a 98% CW op (:->).
Besides, you can't key the rig if you're in ssb.

You didn't happen to be using CW in the SSB mode? That is the K3's
ability to allow you to be on SSB, hear a CW signal and call him without
changing mode. This practice is quite useful on 6M.
