Just completed AM mode on the KX3. Sounds excellent when listening on a K3. I'll be listening on 3.870 tonight, hoping to make the first AM QSO on the KX3. Other recent changes: Major improvement in QSK CW (very fast, with no audio artifacts); TX noise gate (voice modes); mic gain increased for use with low-output mic elements. 73, Wayne N6KR
