[Elecraft] KPA500 - ground wire between the AC earth and RF output socket

Ron, the KPA500 does *not* use a separate power supply. It has a built-in
power supply and so plugs directly into the mains outlet. That's why it has
the green wire bonded to the enclosure as required by the various electrical
codes. 

While it's common for most modern Ham gear to use external supplies, that is
not always the case. The KPA500 is one of the many exceptions.

I have not seen the manual mentioned in this thread, and
I may be unclear regarding this, but as all ham radios derive power from 
their separate power supply, isn't the "switch-mode" type isolated?

then the required "green wire" in the AC line should be tied to the 
power supply, not the radio.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
