[Elecraft] K3/P3 IMac firmware problem

Used Windows to download new firmware with no problems. Now have an IMac with OSX Lion and can't seem to download firmware. 

The new firmware downloads successfully to a folder and the K3 indicates that it is ready, but then it says "K3 not responding".

I am using the same 232 to USB silver cable that I bought from Elecraft over a year ago. I have tried downloading from the old download s
