Good grief, that was almost TOO EASY with the KPA500 on line!  Heard them a few minutes ago on 14.182 indicating they were listening up 5.  Hit split, cranked VFO B to 14.187.  The amp was already in operate as I had just changed from 15 meter RTTY so I gave 'em a call.  Green lights all over the board.  500 out, 1:1 SWR and they came right back on the first one!  It don't get too much better than that, but like I said, that was almost too easy.
