Curt,

Not a lot of wiring at all.  There are only 2 cables - one is the coax 
to connect the KPA100 to the base K2 (yes, you have to drill a hole into 
the rear panel of the EC2 enclosure to accept a BNC jack.  I would also 
suggest that you solder the header that normally is placed on the RF 
Board onto the back of this BNC jack so you can plug in the normal RF 
input cable to the KPA100.

The 2nd cable is to connect the KIO2 in the base K2 to the KPA100.  It 
is built just like the cable shown in the KAT100 manual - yes I know you 
will not have the KAT100, but the cable instructions are in that manual, 
and you can download it.

So two cables to connect and disconnect, and that is all.
