Since your K3 is an earlier version, I suggest you take this chance to order all the modifications mentioned in:

All the modifications are not difficult and can be done without too much trouble.  The DSP modification is definitely a must.  NR before modification has lot of artifacts.

Holger,

The DSP Upgrade is certainly possible for your K3 - whether that is a 
board exchange or the LPF which you add to the board.
