[Elecraft] KPA500 #181 confession time

It is time for me to fess up and start my ingress of humble pie!!

I received my KPA kit in mid July and put it together but could not get any
HV voltage readout and posted to this refllector with several replies and
thankyou to them.
The project was put on hold while the XYL and I went to VK3 land, Melbourne
Australia,for a week to see the Tutankamen Exhibition there (vry good btw).
When we got back there was an email from Gary @support and we spent a few
weeks going thru 2 more PSU's and all sorts of  measurements from various
points on the unit.

Long story short RTFM and "read the current  up to date one" as I mostly
used the <Preliminary one > and missed the very obvious alteration to the
interlock switch actuator which was lengthened by about 4-5mm (>.25") with
the addition of a nut and a screw plus  additional washers..

I am pleased to report that the KPA is on its way back to ZL and should be
here in about 10 days  or so.
