[Elecraft] KX3: Direct keyboard interface?

Rather than a keyboard (only), I think the ideal companion to the KX3  
would be a small netbook. You could connect it to both the KX3's  
serial I/O port and the RX I/Q and run terminal as well as panadapter  
applications.
