Thanks for all the varied replies.  This is the one that worked.  I'm now OK
on 6.

 

It sounds as if you are using ANT 1 for the other bands and ANT 1 is
connected to the KPA500. In that case you need to hit ANT to switch it from
2 to 1 (that is remembered "per band" so once you do it all is well).
