It would be a pretty expensive shortwave receiver:
K3/10 $1500
KBPF3 $140

You'd save some by eliminating the 10W PA but have to add some for the
8-pole 6 kHz or 13 Khz filter to replace the stock 5-pole 2.7 kHz
filter. Would people be willing to spend well over $1500 for the best
SWL receiver on the market?
