Because it is 10 to 15 dB more sensitive than CW, JT65A is the standard mode for
6m EME. If you want to set it up for maximum sensitivity for EME, a checklist of

The K3 is GREAT for JT65A because many stations can be decoded in the wide, flat
passband when the filters are opened up all the way. You can use the narrow audio
filter ("FREEZE" filter) to select individual stations in the passband.
