[Elecraft] Operated K3 SSB in CW band - not sure why

Guy,
It wasn't me. It was "kcflyers" (call sign unknown) who reported this -
I wasn't awake enough when I replied and forgot to include his original
message, which demonstrated a lack of understanding about the use of the
two VFOs:

If he was somehow making S&P QSOs while this was happening, he must have
been transmitting simultaneously on both frequencies, which certainly
would be an indication of serious problems inside the radio.
I suspect he was not making QSOs and just had Split turned on without
being aware of it.
