That's an ongoing problem for companies everywhere, but I'm sure you know
that it's nothing to get worried about in casual communications. In Germany
is the home of a company whose name was often used in place of "radio" by
the people there for many years: Telefunken. Elsewhere, including in the
USA, it was called a "Marconi". 

Most British still "Hoover" their carpets, and most Americans wouldn't know
what I wanted if I asked for cellophane tape but they know instantly if I
ask for "Scotch Tape", Hi! 

And, of course (looking at your page on QRZ.COM) I'm sure that you know that
for many people "Ferrari" simply means "very, very, very fast car", Hi!
