[Elecraft] FD AGC settings for CW

1. Use fast agc, with the quickest agc decay rate.
2. Increase overall receiver gain by setting AF GAIN = HI in
config.
3. Set the AF gain control wide open.  Use minimum RF gain (no
preamp if possible, use attenuator if possible, min rf gain
control setting) to be able to copy weak signals.

The intent of all this is to keep pileups on the linear portion
of the gain curve as much as possible.

In k3 config:
AGC DCY SOFT
AGC HLD 0.20
AGC PLS NOR
AGC SLP 000 (steepest)
AGC THR 008 (highest)
AGC F 200 (quickest)
AGC S 020
AF GAIN HI

contesting settings
for Field Day.  This is the 3rd year that we will use my K3 for 
our CW
station and I have always used the default or N1EU settings. 
Anyone have
any alternatives they have found to work well?  Might be fun to 
save several
in K3EZ and try them all out this weekend.
