But not as disappointing as finding that you can't communicate at all with
your QRP rig because there is a contest on with several layers of stations
on every frequency. I like to take my portable QRP rigs seriously as safety
equipment, and the need for that function doesn't go away where there is a
contest on. 30 m may not work.
