[Elecraft] KPA500 Kit Build

This is the sort of news I like to hear Jim. (The pin one complaint excepted of course)
I can even live with typo's and having played with a KPA500 already, I am more than eager to have my own unit sitting next to my K3.

I am keeping a very close eye on my inbox lately in anticipation of the shipping notice.
(I've already paid for my amp in full) :-)

  I was another beta builder, and I did the deed on Saturday, in between a 
  bunch of honeydoos and a dinner in a restaurant.  I can confirm Ed's 
  comments about an easy assembly from a well written manual. Found a few 
  typos, but everything went smoothly, and I got a tour of the inside of 
  the amp. Very nice piece, well built. I took about four hours to do it, 
  including making notes of the typos.  Others might do it a lot faster. 
  :)   Only complaint is that Elecraft STILL doesn't understand the Pin 
  One problem.  The RCA connectors for ALC and PTT float from the chassis. 
  AARGH.

  Buying this as a kit is strongly recommended.
