[Elecraft] K3: Why isn't this feature built in?

About a year ago I prompted a discussion on using variable phasing of 
the diversity receive capability of the K3 to create a null in a desired 
direction.   While Alan and others agreed it was theoretically possible 
to do that, there are indeed issues that make it more involved than it 
might seem on the surface.  You should be able to get more details from 
the reflector archives.
