[Elecraft] [K2] KAT100 Current Draw??

Jon,
I have never measured the current draw of a KAT100 while tuning, but I
imagine 1100 ma is not out of the question - it would depend on how many
relays are being activated at a time during the tuning routine.
The 300 ma average does seem to be about right, but again will depend on
how many relays are active for any one tuning combination.
As for the Watts Up showing peaks during transmit - well I would check
that meter and also check for RF in the shack. There is no change in
the KAT100 relays going from RX to TX, so the current should not change.
