Dave,
Better check your facts. Unless you mean issue of new experimental
licenses. The 600m band is migrating to 465-480 KHz under pending
approval for ham use by the FCC. WD2XSH retains its privileges on
490-510 KHz and is authorized to use the new band with some restrictions.

Shouldn't be, since the special authorization for 600 meters expired in
the US at the end of 2010.
A shame, too, since I was the lucky(?) winner of the 600m transverter
kit at the 2011 FDIM.
I ended up doing some swapping with the rep and got a dual band 40 and
20 meter receiver kit, instead.
