Although the switching works fine, I have a problem with this
combination, in that the KRC2 seems to produce strong birdies, of a
sort, on the 10m band. The birdies alternate between two frequencies a
couple of kHz apart every second or so, with the time spent on each of
the two frequencies drifting back and forth. There are harmonics of it
all over the 10m band. It sounds like a timer of some sort in the
KRC2, and it goes away if I power off the KRC2 (and activate the 10m
filter by other means). I'm not sure if I have a defective KRC2, or if
it's a fundamental flaw. I've reproduced it with two different
Dunestars, but only tried with one KRC2. I still need to dig into it a
bit more...
