No...we are NOT off topic!
With all this talk of cookie sheets, muffin tins, etc being pressed into service when building Elecraft kits, I thought I'd pass along something I came up with to alleviate the problem of keeping track of all those tiny screws, nuts, bolts, lock washers, spacers, and other small "stuff" that can easily get lost in the shuffle when building a kit.
Moe's! Yup, Moe's. In addition to some of the best Southwestern cuisine around, they offer a wide selection of salsa and 'hot" sauces when you purchase a meal. You put these condiments into little opaque plastic cups that are provided on the condiments bar. These 1-2 oz opaque plastic cups are perfect for holding small parts after you sort them during inventory. You can write on the side of the plastic cup with a black Sharpie (tm) listing what size the hardware is for quick reference. Cost? Zero, Zip, Nada, Nothing! Just pick up a few each time you go to Moe's and after three or four trips you;'ll have a couple years worth of small opaque plastic parts cups to see you through many builds.
Have fun and "Welcome to Moe's!!!" (Burp!!)
