When you get in a situation like this, where ssb voicekeying is 
not working, or afsk diddle isn't diddling, it is helpful to 
temporarily plug some headphones into the sound card output.  If 
you can hear the sound, then the problem is further downstream. 
If you can't hear the sound, the problem is in the computer.

3rd attempt . I dunno what's going on here.

So I went to work some RTTY today using MMTTY with the K3, and 
can't get it to
transmit. I'm using AFSK A, 45 baud, the mark and space freqs are 
the same in the
program and the rig, the correct sound card is selected, nothing 
is muted, VOX is on.
MMTTY is set to use sound.

The MMTTY tuning indicator looks like I'm transmitting, but the 
rig isn't getting the
sound - no diddle. The K3 meter bars all go blank.

What am I missing? RX is fine.
