[Elecraft] K3 Utility Going Bonkers

I have a desktop running Win 7/64 and a FTDI KUSB.  But when I looked per
W4TV's note below, I couldn't find "Power Management."  Might you two both
be using laptops, so that the problem is limited to battery power?
