[Elecraft] Using K3 with N1MM and MMTTY

Assuming you are using FSK (FSK D), you need two serial ports.  One
port is used by N1MM Logger for radio control (connected to the K3
RS-232 port),  The other port is the N1MM Logger "Digital" port -
the TxD line drives an open collector transistor connected to the
FSK input on the K3 ACC jack and the RTS line drives an open collector
transistor connected to the PTT line on the K3 ACC jack.

If you are using AFSK A, you can dispense with the "Digital" port
completely and allow N1MM Logger to control PTT using the RTS line
on the k3 RS-232 port (PTT - KEY => rts-OFF or rts,dtr).  In that
case you would connect the computer Line Out to the K3 Line In
and the K3 Line Out to the computer Line In with a pair of audio
cables (or a more capable/advanced interface).
