[Elecraft] dynamic range question

This is just an issue of your notebook emitting a lot of RF in the ham  
bands; it isn't a strong enough signal to bring dynamic range into play.

The KX3 has DSP-based noise blanking and noise reduction, so it should  
do a better job on all types of noise than the '817.
