A loaded K3 on receive should be under 1.5 A even with all guns
blazing. If it's 2 amps, try switching options off (starting with the
sub RX) to see what's up. Another possibility is incorrect resistance
at the current-sense resistor, so confirm the reading using an
external ammeter.
