[Elecraft] P3SVGA - Coming soon

Yes, "design disaster" is not a fitting or justified complaint. It would be better to say that it was one person's view of a "marketing disaster" -- that is, building a product that works perfectly but it is not what the "market" wants.

In this case, I would say that it was not a marketing disaster either but one of misunderstanding on the part of the complainer about the "product".

Reminds me of a little story. Back in 1970 I worked in the billing office of a Volkswagen dealership. My job was to total up the repair bills based on the things that the shop did to repair a car. The paper work of course included the customer's complaint. I laughed out loud when I processed one bill for the repair of a brand new, VW Bug. The customer complained of "noise". The bill was zero -- no charge because nothing done. The shop foreman had written on the paperwork a message to the customer "If you want a quiet car, buy a Ford LTD". And, as a good employee of the company, I did not edit or censure that comment but left it for the customer to read.
