If you remove your KPA3, it should be obvious if you have gold pins or
not, in the connectors that mate with the riser board. I believe that
the standard factory repair for this problem replaces only the 6 pins
that carry the 12V supply to the PA. I'm not sure how new K3s are
equipped (all gold pins, or only those 6).
