Good Evening,
     Wonderful early winter weather all week has allowed me to stay 
outside much of each day.  All this sun is unusual so it is very 
special.  But as I work I look down into the valleys and find they are 
filled with dense fog.  That may explain why so few people drove by over 
the week.  After cutting, splitting, hauling, and stacking wood for so 
long it feels natural to keep doing it.  As long as there is room I 
don't mind ending the heating season with wood to spare.  Besides it is 
good exercise in the fresh, frosty air.

     Propagation was just as good with twenty meters waking up an hour 
or so after sunrise.  I did not get a chance to listen on ten meters 
this week due to the fine weather keeping me away from a rig.  But I am 
sure that soon the rains will be back and I'll be at the desk full time 
in the not too distant future.  Then the good propagation will be a boon 
to keeping me from going cabin crazy.  However, if the snow gets too 
deep I can always go XC skiing :)  My ATS 3 can make contacts from an 
impromptu snow cave too.
