Another advantage of the AUX-ACC connection for some ops is the ability to change bands using the KPA500 band buttons. I don't need them myself, but some ops complained about the lack of band buttons on the small K3 panel. They aren't likely to buy a KPA for its band buttons, but if they want the amp they should finally be happy about having band buttons.
