[Elecraft] HELP! K3 dead

OK, I oculd not get the K3 to turn off, so I pulled the plug *GULP*  Initiated EE INIT but now the K3 is frozen with EE INIT on the LCD.  Does this take more than 10 minutes?  If not, WHAT NEXT???  My vague sense of dread is rapidly building.
