[Elecraft] 64-bit Linux

Hi Neoklis,

Installing the 32-bit compatibility libraries (ia32-libs) should solve the problem with 64-bit Linux. I expect you will find many Linux apps will require the 32-bit libraries.

Hi Thomas

The problem is that I have installed a 64-bit only Arch Linux X86-64 distro and the utility is 32-bit. If necessary I beleive I can install multilib, which could give me 32-bit compatibility so the utility can run. I will try later after I finish some upgrade work on some of my Ham radio Linux software (upgrading from OSS to ALSA sound API). I beleive I will need 32-bit compatibility for Skype also.

Hi Neoklis,

The binary I downloaded from Elecraft works just fine on my Linux netbook, running Ubuntu 11.04, there wasn't any problems either before or after I upgraded from 10.10, so I don't know why it doesn't work for you. What output do you get - maybe there are some library packages you need to install.
