I am sorry you feel that way Don. 

Certainly, if you are getting flack for posting to this list you are right
to refrain. We don't need grief in our lives.

If that's the case it's a incalculable loss to this community; something for
all who understand the Ham spirit to grieve over.

For a decade this list has had a reputation as a place where anyone could
ask a question about an Elecraft rig or just Ham Radio in general and get
considerate, polite answers and opinions. 

We've had discussions about everything from what equipment to buy, how to
string up an antenna, or how to make a QSO. If it was a question someone
with an Elecraft product might have, it was more than welcome, it was
encouraged. 

And the replies were *on* the reflector so others could read and learn, not
so they could criticize and scoff at them. 

Differing opinions? Sure! Questioning a statement? Sure! 

Those were big part of the value of sharing responses with the list. And
under it all was the recognition that the new guy with a new license who
wonders how to string up a wire or hold a mic deserves the same
consideration and respect as the expert who sits at the top of the DXCC or
Contest awards lists.

Sorry to the group.  I meant to send my advice to Mark off reflector and hit

the wrong button.  I knew one of the "guru's" would disagree with something 
I said, and I usually avoid posting here for that reason.  Again, my
