[Elecraft] P-3 Marker A doesn't align with K-3 RX frequency when turned on

Has anyone else noticed that often when you turn on Marker A that it doesn't align with the Rx frequency. Example: Listening on 7025.7. Turn on Marker A. It comes on about 5 khz higher in frequency. It moves as I tune the receiver, but does not align to frequency of receiver until I Tap to QSY.

I seem to remember that originally that it was on the received requency when turned on.
