Unfortunately there are a significant number of older programs that
do not support 38,400 ... many old loggers that do not have specific
K3 support still work very well with the Kenwood settings but they
are limited to 19,200 or even hard coded at 4800.

It is important for the P3 to reset the K3 RS232 parameter to the
P3 RS232 (user interface) setting when the P3 is turned off.
