[Elecraft] k3 turning itself back on

  Mark,

Do you have anything connected to the K3 ACC connector?  It sounds like 
something is grounding the ACC connector pin 8.
If you used a VGA externsion cable to connect to the ACC connector, some 
of the pins are shorted to other pins in a VGA cable - you must use a 
cable with all 15 pins separated.
