Hi David,

Your post brings back fond memories. I built K2 #6030 back in March of 2007. I remember how impressed I was with the quality of the engineering. I had built many Heathkits back in the day, but nothing compared to the experience of building the K2. Although I now have a K3, I'm seriously considering getting another K2 just for the building experience. There's nothing like the feeling you get when you make that first contact. Enjoy the build. Savor it. It's a real treat.
