I cannot believe that a capacitor would actually come unsoldered and fall
off a pcb; it's more likely that it was packed loose for some odd reason and
just happened to drop out when you opened up the box. I've never come
across a component not taking any solder at all having passed thro a solder
wave. Does it look like it has been soldered at some stage?
