SHIFT/WIDTH and HI CUT/LO CUT are two ways of ajsting exactly the same 
filtering at both IF and AF simultaneously.

Many operators find HI CUT/LO CUT easier to use when operating SSB, and 
SHIOFT/WIDTH easier to use when operating CW and DATA modes.
