Really, there is a tiny difference between 5 watts and 20 watts.
For example, I work PSK everywhere on 5 watts. 

My wish would be a SSB capability to work digital modes, but that would
be impractical for a radio like the KX2 as a trail radio. 
Besides, more costly.
