Mike,

When you say the sub does not follow, do you mean that if both VFOs are
tuned to a signal and you then turn the VFO A knob away from the signal,
the right channel still plays the same signal without change despite
turning the tuning knob? or do you simply mean that the VFO B readout
doesn't change, but the signals in the left and right channels both move
with the tuning knob?

If it's just that the VFO B readout doesn't change, that's normal. In
Diversity mode, both receivers are controlled by VFO A. The VFO B
readout is the same as it would be in a single-receiver K3, and has
nothing to do with the subRX in this mode.

There are two VFOs and there are two receivers in your K3, but there is
not a one-to-one correspondence between VFOs and receivers. The main RX
is always on VFO A, but the subRX may be on either VFO, depending on
whether you are in DVRSTY mode or not. The transmitter may be on either
VFO, depending on whether you are in SPLIT mode or not.

BTW, you do not need to set SPKRS to 2 unless you also have SPKR+PH set
to Yes. In particular, do not set SPKRS to 2 if you have a mono speaker
plug plugged into the rear panel speaker jack.
