You do not need to purchase an additional connector.

Is this Anderson PowerPole a connector I need to buy? If so can you provide

Looks adequate for use with a K3.  I use an Astron SS-25, 20 Amp   
continuours, 25 Surge. 

Now issues. 

You will have to modify the plug to fit the K3 Anderson PowerPole power
input.
