[Elecraft] P3 Relay clicking , diplayed curve while tuning

That's probably the relay that bypasses the amplifier when very strong
signals are present.  Try turning off the K3 preamp or turning on the
attenuator.

The averaging resets when you tune.  That keeps the display from
smearing but does cause the displayed noise to increase while tuning the
K3.  Once you stop, the averaging resumes automatically.
