[Elecraft] K2: better charging technique for KBT2??

  Allan,

Take a look at the K2 Smartcharger article on my website www.w3fpr.com.
To use a charger of that nature, you must make a direct connection to 
the battery.  PUT A FUSE IN THAT CONNECTION.
I am repairing a K2 right now that did not have a fuse - the battery 
apparently was shorted and melted a lot of wires inside the K2.
