For an added touch, you might want to wrap some of that framing material around an original Marconi Wireless stock certificate (canceled, of course). There are lots of them available from sources on the internet (just do a Google search on "stock certificate" and "Marconi Wireless") at prices between $20 and $100 depending upon condition and date of issue. I bought one a few years ago and they are fairly attractive.

Subject: [Elecraft] So the K3 Won't Do Spark Gap?
Somewhat related ...
Some years ago I visited the Marconi site at Glace Bay.
The site that the Canadians tout as "the Marconi site"
was only the receiving station's location. The 600 acre
transmitter site is a few miles away on a dirt road and is
virtually unknown. It took me two days to track it down.
There's the proverbial long story involved, but I came away
with a huge (+/- 3') antenna insulator from the original station
and some scraps of wood to make certificate frames with.
The insulator hangs in my shack, and it was given to me by
the caretaker of the site, who is the grandson of Marconi's
foreman. It's a tragedy that the site isn't protected by Parks
Canada. There are political reasons why, but it's still tragic.
Marconi's car and home is there and the house is furnished
with the Marconi family furniture, including his wife's piano
and his mandolin. There's even an attic full of his personally
made radio "junk". So sad ... enough to make a fella cry.
I've been to radio's Mecca! (:-))
