Great idea as long as Elecraft provide and maintain drivers that work  
with

Win2K
WinXP,
Vista/32 bit
Vista/64 bit
Win7/32 bit
Win7/64 bit
Mac OS X 10.5 PPC,
Mac OS X 10.5 Intel,
Mac OS X 10.6,
and the various versions of Linux (32 and 64 bit).

I'm all for it.
